what is the best illustrative card for someone who don't resembling games but desires to see an extreme graphics resolution

this would be the brandnew GeForce 8800GTX near a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and it doesn't cost a kingdom.

geforce 7900
Any recent one that supports 3D graphics and have a decent amount of RAM.
walk to http://www.Nvidia.com , and look for the card that gives you maximum resolution ..
N Vidia Quadro Effects or an ATI Fire GL

These will cost you from $1000-1500, but they're the best
I use an Nvidia Quadro FX5500 and it does pretty ably. It will support 2 panels at 3840 x 2400 respectively, I personally single use 2560x1600 on a dell 30" which is native resolution, but it depends what you're looking for. My setup works great beside vector rendering.

The card was around $3500 and the panel be about $1500
