What is the difference within USB 1.1 and 2.0?

is the size different? if i get a USB hub, would a 1.1 plug into a 2.0 or 2.0 into 1.1?

What is the difference within USB 1.1 and 2.0?

Both use the exactly the same connector, but USB 2 is a faster correlation
same size, 2.0 is only faster...
2.0 have 80x better transfer rates.
Only focal difference is the transfer speed.

Yes you can plug a USB 1 stick into a USB 2 hub.

USB is particularly backward compatable.
Having tried both on different items, i would recommend USB 2.0, efficient, better and much easier to use, good luck.
ONE WORD:

Speed.

They connect equal. You can use a 1.1 hub in a 2.0 bus, but it will run at 1.1 speed. 2.0 is 80x faster.

Cheers :-)
The just difference is the speed and time you do things.

Bye and good luck!

God bless everyone.
USB 2.0 (400MBps) is faster than 1.1 (110MBps), and 2.0 is towards the back compatible with 1.1. So yes, 1.1 will work within a 2.0 USB port. If you use a 1.1 USN hub it will slow down data verbs for 2.0 devices. Data will only verbs as fast as the slowest configuration.
