What is the best 128mb / AGP x8 illustrative card?

Best is probably the Nvidia 7800 GS but that's $300+ CDN

You can go for this one which is not fruitless -->GeForce 7600 GT AGP 256MB. It will be a lot faster than what you enjoy now.

great site!!! and tell you where to buy exactly what you want! if you are interested in that are higher mb for the graphics cards, 256mb is apt! But then again it is up to you, but I am sure you will find a great part card from this company!

Good luck and

hope this helps
Don't buy a 128MB video card. Most games are in a minute requiring a minimum of a 256MB video card, and that won't be changing contained by the future. I'd recommend the 7600GS: http://www.newegg.com/product/productlis... It have amazing performance, for it's price.

AGP is a dying breed of symbolic cards, i have a Nvidia 6800 GT 256MB on AGP. There are simply not various more cards coming out of AGP, PCI express is where the adjectives is. however, there are some cards still ut here. the top two would be Nvidia 7800 GS, or its ATI counterpart the X1950. both of these are over 128Mb, but more is better.
128MB is the memory of the video card and the AGP x8 is the circuitry version of the AGP... you could not glibly replace them if your PC is capable individual with x2, x4 and not x8...coz it will hurt your board and video card...

be careful! try another which is better than yours very soon, like 256MB and compatible next to your board...
