I plan on playing Guild Wars soon and I requirement a new video card. Which ones are top serration?

Can I just suggest? Ok...adjectives you need for THAT winter sport, is something in the Geforce 6/7 familial ( 6200/6600/6800-or anything in the 7's).

I have a 6200 oc card for about a year, and I could play EQ2, WOW, and BF2 unforced! And any of those games needs at tiniest whatever Guild Wars desires to play. Don't go flipping out tons of lolly for something that you won't need. A well brought-up setup is: at least 400ghz clock-speed, 256mb, and something that give you good support and smooth play at around 1440x900 res.

You probably cannot afford the best. I am sure of it. The best are within the thousands and who cares what brand or model. As Robin Leach would enunciate, "You simply can't afford it."
The soon to be best comes out in November the Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX which will probably cost give or take a few $600 U.S



The fastest single card at the moment is a ATI X1950XTX which starts at $399

Nvidias fastest until November which is 2 cards glued together essentially is a 7950GX2 and retails for $499



Though i doubt you'd really need any of those unless you play at insane resolutions.
It is currently a encounter between the Geforce 7950 GX2 and the ATI X1950XTX



but that will soon be solved by Geforce's G80 series
