What is a dutiful hd repair program?

I enjoy a seagate 200gb hd that now read as a 160gb hd. I done a 50x wipe on it and it still reads as 160gb, so what is a angelic hd repair program that I can use? I want my other 40 gb back!

There will option at the back of rugged drive in jersey pins to limit it to 160GB. if u can remove that setting within jumper pins u can grasp that 40 GB back.
Sorry, can abet you there. 2 Questions. Did you try doing a complete scandisk, and do disk surface inspection, and did you try formatting it (backing up notes fist of course)?
Sounds to me like you own somehow split the drive into a smaller partition.and the rest is unpartitioned space .You Should be capable of use A Windows XP installer Cd To Repair this.Boot the Windows Disk and procede as if you were going to do an install.when the peak comes up to select which drive pick your seagate 200 gig .and delete adjectives partitions consequently remove the cd,reboot and after windows open try formating again .It should be 200 gig afterward.
