I hold an eMachines (D3315) computer that is currently at a lowly:
DDR-RAM 256MB (Max. 2GB)
I across the world use my computer for downloading music, photos and internet use.
Here are my memory options:
1. 256MB $36.93
2. 512MB $64.19
3. 1GB $118.87
I really freshly want my computer to run faster when I'm on the net considering that I tend to hold multiple internet explorer windows accessible while running instant messaging applications and downloading music at the same time.
So my interview, which memory upgrade should I buy?
What is my best selection surrounded by jargon of a memory upgrade for my computer?
Increasing memory is always honourable. If you are running XP I would suggest a minimum of at least 512 mb. If you can afford the 1GB jump for it.
No need to upgrade memory only for multiple browsing.. use Firefox and its tabbed browsing option
i own 512 on my desktop and 2 gigs on my laptop and the laptop runs so much faster, as i can have alot more things running at matching time so i would say 1 gb
any of those upgrades will assistance. If you can afford the 1 GB then do it. The more the better surrounded by this case.
Dont in recent times look at the memory size. Look at the BUS speed of the memory as well. If your board and CPU run at 800mhz afterwards you dont want to get memory that runs at let say 333mhz. It creates a bottle collar on your system. Be careful on what brands you buy too. Corsair is other a good brand to buy.
