USB is a standard interface that let you connect devices such as printers, digital cameras, keyboards, etc to a computer.
There are three versions: 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0. Version 2.0 have the fastest transfer speed 480 Mbits/sec. 1.1 is the subsequent fastest at 12Mbits/sec, while 1.0 only supports 1.5Mbits/sec.

USB are plug-in port's on your PC. If you look at your computer canister, you may own USB port's on the front, and possibly the back side of the PC. These port's are used to plug within a verity of different applications such as Didgital cameras, or exterior hard drives. There is numerous plug & play devices. There are also cable that say for instance plug within your Didital camera, then plug contained by to the USB port to connect and download pictures. That's just an excample. Good luck. Mikie.
