I think within are two different speeds of DSL. But one is more costly than the other.. My suggestion is to contact your ISP and discuss it with them. :)
sounds resembling it's the website issues not dsl..i have dsl and keep watch on shows without problems.
Haven't see any accelerators that helped next to that.

My suspicion is that something is slowing your computer.

Boot with most mundane background programs disabled and next try it.
Just get more bandwidth, or a better video card. "Web accelerators" are truly bogus programs that install spyware or worse on your system, so avoid them.
don't bother with network accelerators, they aren't that useful. Your best bet is to use a honest browser (Firefox or Opera) and a good hoarding blocker. AdBlock Plus for Firefox is great.
DSL is just slow. Web accelerators with the sole purpose help pattern surfing by cacheing webpage information. When you are watching a movie it is streaming. Which means a constant flow of background. Make sure there are no other applications using your internet nouns at the same time and that might minister to. Only other option is to choose a lower quailtiy and/or upgrade your internet service.
